  1. Great video review! I backed the Skystriker and…yes, I think it was worth the cost, especially with all the extras that were included. That said, I agree with your criticisms of it–I had to be extremely careful while assembling the wings (it was easier and less never-wracking when it came to the wings of the Silent Strike Skystriker that I have) and the front landing gear issue is annoying. That said, I’ve found that keeping the wings at mid-sweep helps keep the front gear closed and flush.

I also admit that I’m a bit nervous putting the figures in–in fact, I don’t put the figures in the rear on the seat posts; I just carefully seat them in the back! Thankfully they don’t jostle around and I can close the canopy without issues.

Do I wish Hasbro had addressed these issues before shipping out all the Skystrikers? Yes. Still…I really love this purchase and the new figures. This really is the “ultimate” Skystriker and again, the tampo printing of many markings on the aircraft meant that I used only a fraction of the decals provided (in short, maybe eight, at tops). It was worth backing this, and I’m sure that someone will figure out a proper way to deal with the front landing gear issues.
